July 24th Wednesday
Evening  Summer Gathering

On Wednesday 24th July, John and Shirley Stirland will be opening
their garden at 65 Queen’s Road, Fakenham for an opportunity to not
only explore their garden, but also mingle with other members and
gardeners, with a glass of something and a bite to eat.
John and Shirley moved to Fakenham in 2021 and the garden they
inherited needed some restoration. John has drawn on his years in
horticulture to design and plant a new garden, incorporating his and
Shirley’s desire to attract and sustain a diversity of plant and wildlife.

So why not join us on the 27th . Their garden is open from 6:30pm. Parking
on Queen’s Road itself is very limited, so we are recommending
people park in Queen’s Road Car Park which is free after 6pm. It’s
only a short walk to John and Shirley’s. Their house is just past Lichfield
Street, on the left, opposite the Recreation Ground. There is no charge
for this event – look forward to seeing you on the 24th.

get together once again this evening should be both informative for the gardener and with plenty of
humus, sorry humour, mixed in.
A short AGM will precede the main event.at
